DISHWASHERS

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Dishwashers are integral part of our Food and Beverage Operation. Staffing the dish pit area you are responsible to clean all wares ensuring they are clean for use and stored in the appropriate area. This position is an integral part of the service we strive to deliver at The Pulpit Club.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Wash all wares in the dishwashing machine or by hand as instructed
• Polish all silverware, platters and chafing dishes
• Wash and polish all stainless steel in the kitchen, including shelves, dish storage areas, coffee service station
• Wash and clean receiving area and trash area
• Collect trash from kitchen areas, empty garbage bins, wash and re-line with new bags
• Dispose of trash into the garbage bins in the parking area
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors
• Store all dishes and other wares in proper areas
• Clean the dishwashing machine nightly or more frequently as required
• Assist in putting away deliveries, cleaning coolers, freezers and storage areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be fully flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• High school education preferred
• Quality verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly
• Previous experience is an asset
• Possession of a valid G2 or G drivers licence is an asset
