GATEHOUSE ATTENDANTS

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Gatehouse Attendants are an integral part of our Golf Operations. Gatehouse Attendants are responsible for ensuring that all Members and Guests are greeted with a friendly and helpful attitude as they are the first person that our Members and Guests see upon arrival at the Club.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a clean, healthy and safe workplace that meets or exceeds our standards at The Pulpit Club.
• Step out of the Gate House and greet all Members and Guests in a positive, friendly and helpful manner while controlling access to the Club ensuring only those permitted on the property are granted access.
• Call to confirm any appointments with staff members before allowing individuals to proceed, whenever possible. Notify staff members of visitors upon their arrival and of any special requests.
• Maintain constant communication with the Pro Shop and Outside Services Team to notify staff of incoming Members and Guests so they are prepared to greet them. Including the Shuttle Driver if a Member or Guest will be parking their vehicle and needing transportation.
• Provide exceptional understanding of all club activities/functions and be able to provide answers to any questions with confidence or find the answer if unsure.
• Guide Members, Guests and suppliers to their desired destination within the property and to The Paintbrush if required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Be fully flexible to evenings, weekends and holidays
• High school education preferred
• Previous experience an asset
• Quality verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Take great pride in ensuring a healthy and clean environment
• Possession of a valid G2 or G drivers licence preferred
