GOLF SHOP ATTENDANTS

POSITION SUMMARY

The Golf Shop Attendant plays a key role within the Golf Department, assisting in all areas of the Golf Operation. While staffing and monitoring the Golf Shop, this employee will monitor the online tee sheet and communicate regularly with Golf, Outside Services, Gatehouse and Player Assistant team members. The Golf Shop Attendant will play and active role in our retail and merchandise program and will assist with tournament preparation and execution. This individual will engage directly with members and their guests, delivering a first-class customer service experience that is consistent, enjoyable, and memorable.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for greeting our members and guests
• Monitoring our online tee sheet
• Communicating with all outside team members
• Golf cart and guest fee charges
• Retail sales and merchandising
• Tournament preparation and execution
• Assisting Outside Services with Opening and Closing Procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to provide the finest in customer service
• Must possess a valid G2 or G drivers licence
• Be fully flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Completion of grade 11 or higher preferred
• Quality interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs constantly
• Retail sales experience is an asset
