HALF-WAY ATTENDANTS

POSITION SUMMARY

Our Service Staff and Half-Way Attendants are integral part of our Food and Beverage Operation. Staffing the Halfway you are responsible for barbecued items such as hotdogs, hamburgers, and sausages along with freshly prepared sandwiches, chips, chocolate bars, espresso, beer, liquor, and all non-alcoholic beverages. You will provide a casual environment providing the finest in service and attending to our members. This position is an integral part of the service we strive to deliver at The Pulpit Club.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as ordered.
• Take orders from members and guests, serve from Halfway area and/or prepare any food items ordered that is consistent with or exceeds The Pulpit’s service standards.
• Prior to the end of shift, key all Halfway purchases into the Jonas system and complete end of day reading
• Make to order, such as but not limited to: hotdogs, hamburgers, and sausages along with freshly prepared sandwiches, chips, chocolate bars, espresso, beer, liquor, and all non-alcoholic beverages
• Continually replenish Halfway supplies and stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to provide the finest in customer service
• Be fully flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Completion of grade 11 or higher preferred
• Quality interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly
• Previous experience is an asset
• Must be Smart Serve Certified
