POSITION SUMMARY

Our Service Staff are integral part of our Food and Beverage Operation. Staffing the Clubhouse, Halfway and Beverage Cart you are responsible for setting and clearing eating areas, serving our members and guests, stocking bar related fridges, providing the finest in service and attending to our Members. This position is an integral part of the service we strive to deliver at The Pulpit Club.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve our Members and Guests in a timely manner
• Carry meals from the kitchen to the table
• Remove soiled dishes from tables and return them to the dish washing area
• Set tables with linen, silverware and glassware as per our standards
• Clear the floors in the dining area as needed
• Stock service stations as required
• General tidiness of dining areas
• Assist in set up of functions and tournaments
• Ensure orders are accurately entered into Jonas (point of sale system) and all chits presented to our members for signature

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to provide the finest in customer service
• Be fully flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Completion of grade 11 or higher preferred
• Quality interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, problem solve, work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs frequently, 10 lbs constantly
• Previous experience is an asset
• Must be Smart Serve Certified
